Hailed as one of the greatest Hollywood actors since Charlie Chaplin, prolific artist Noah Munck passed away earlier this week. Munck was best known for his role as Gibby, the lead character in the show iCarly, who goes on wacky adventures in Seattle while his friends Carly, Sam, and Freddie try to get their shitty podcast off the ground.

Munck had recently lost over 75 pounds in the previous two weeks with the latest trend, the South Leech Diet. His amazing transformation gained national attention after his nudes were leaked on Twitter. Of course, the internet was wholly supportive of the man’s mistake and did not shame him whatsoever; instead, he landed multiple front-page covers in magazines like Men’s Health, Playgirl, and National Geographic’s very first swimsuit issue.

Munck’s meteoric rise didn’t come without its costs, with close friends Jerry Spencer and Lewis “Lou” Bert claiming that all the fame had gone to his head. And to his head it did, as the reputable tabloid Nevelocity reported that our beloved Gibby was addicted to sex. Following in the footsteps of other child actors, Gibby struggled with substance abuse, embarrassed himself on social media regularly, and – after hitting rock bottom – even went so far as to try and launch a career in music. His first single “Gibby your fuckin’ money! (Dun Dun)” failed to do well in America, but apparently hit it big in Russia, where the song has found use in repelling bear attacks.

Munck’s body, along with those of three prostitutes, a man in a Gumby costume, and an iguana, was found on Tuesday mangled in the wreckage of a Hummer limousine. A police report has indicated that foul play is not suspected, although fans have pointed out that Ariana Grande, another Nickelodeon star, had ample motive to cause him harm, because Munck had been so much more successful than her without even needing to co-opt Black culture.
